Great Outfits: Nikki Reed
Bringing a little sparkle to the Young Hollywood Awards, Twilight saga star Nikki slips into a nude tulle Chris Benz dress sprinkled with sequins and Simon G. Jewelry.
The brunette actress opted for a Cynthia Steffe Spring 2010 floral strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical pleated tiers. A summer time feeling is exactly what I get from Nikki’s dress. I glad she kept her neckline bear, and that she didn’t opt to belt this look. Nikki paired her dress with Jimmy Choo "Nina" patent sandals and a silver Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.
Nikki carries her trusty practical white and grey "Spectator Sabrina" Coach bowler bag with yellow Converses that make dressing casually a lot more fun and her chunky gold necklace adds flair to her casual outfit.
Nikki Reed wears a cute Burberry baby blue silk dress with a black belt with a maroon stone in the center (interesting accessory detail) with a large shiny black clutch, a pearl ring and Christian Louboutin heels.
Nikki Reed wears a gold satin cocktail D&G dress with a gorgeous crystal neckline that she paired with Jimmy Choo strappy heels.
Nikki wears a plum Alice + Olivia dress with draped detail, scooped neckline and spagetti straps. She paired it with black Stewart Weitzman peep-toes and a black Coach clutch.
This jeweled clutch perfectly compliments her royal blue dress.
I am Ksenia and I am a moxie fashionista.
Moxie:
n. Slang
1. The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage.
2. Aggressive energy; initiative: "Her style has moxie: she takes fashion by the balls and makes it her own"
3. Skill; know-how.
Fashionista:
A fashionista doesn't look at her femininity as a gender flaw.
Where some may be quick to label her a bitch, others actually take the time to get to know her eccentricities.
Fashionistas see fashion as an art; their own bodies are the canvas, and the sense of style they develope along the way is the masterpiece.
True fashion ("true fashion" as in the clothes and not the thin supermodels that wear them) is an expression of identity.
Fashionistas are:
Knowledgable about fashion, style, and, really, what works and what... just doesn't.
To me, fashion is an appreciation and understanding of aesthetics and that application of it in our lives.
